Welcome Back
We are so excited for the 2026-2027 school year. Thank you to all of the Stakeholders who participated in the creation of our Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan has four Focus Areas and the Portrait of a Graduate; the plan will guide our work for the next three years
Focus Area I – Student Achievement: Increase growth and proficiency in all students
Focus Area II – Climate and Culture: Foster a safe and supportive learning environment through student well-being, staff development, and the recruitment and retention of high-quality educators
Focus Area III – Engagement and Partnerships: Strengthen connections with families and community partners to create an engaging supportive environment
Focus Area IV – Financial Responsibility: Ensure transparent and responsible management of district finances that support and enhance student achievement, school culture, and community partnerships
Students and Families, we hope you enjoyed your summer and are now ready to dive back into MUHS Life, focused on work which will Engage Minds, Empower Students, and Elevate Communities.
Tribute to the Fall 2024 Board Members-- As 2024 was an election year, new Board Member candidates were selected in November who took office in January 2025. Board Members who served Mingus for multiple years were honored at the December 2024 General Meeting and highlighted by Arizona School Board Association's Board Member Honor Roll December 20, 2025.
Highlighting Mingus Students and Events--At each General Board Meeting the Superintendent's Report highlights various Mingus Union events. Take a moment to review some of the wonderful activities our great students have been involved in by looking through the monthly reports which span from August 2024 to now.
Strategic Plan--The Mingus Union High School District #4 Strategic Plan 2026-2029 will also be accompanied by a "Dashboard." The Dashboard will track our progress towards the specific goals. Currently, this page is under construction.
